Dr Santosh Kumar Swain is the Honorary Secretary of API, Odisha and member of the executive Committee of the Indian Rheumatology Association (Odisha).

He has been a guest speaker and chairperson in various National and State conferences of APICON, ISNCON, RSSDI, and APICON (Odisha). He is the Co-PI in PBSR (Population Based Stroke Registry) under ICMR-NCDIR (National center for Disease Informatics and Research Jointly undertaken in the Dept. of Medicine and Neurology, SCB MCH, Cuttack. He has 4 papers in various journals to his credit.
